I'm originally from Australia and moved to Scotland when I was 8-years old.
I had quite a straightforward route through the school system and went on to study Geology and Physical Geography at Uni, graduating in 2019. I actually worked in recruitment for a year before getting the role at hiber. I guess it just goes to show that you don't necessarily have to end up in a job related to your degree to find what you really love doing!
I typically look after the service that our partners receive when they sign up to hiber, but I also help to improve processes so that the company can grow. Day-to-day my role can really vary, but it often involves following up on quotes, working on finance applications, helping on customer service, helping to order parts for our engineers and just generally making sure everything is running smoothly!
I also work closely with the tech team, finance team, and the engagement team so my role is really varied. It's a really great work culture here and everyone is very supportive. Your ideas are valued from the get-go and there are lots of career opportunities.
