Community Relations Assistant - GEN UK HUB

Maybe you’re a bit of an entrepreneur, or maybe you have a real interest in supporting the goals of others...either way, we have the role for you at GEN UK.

Working in Community Relations in the GEN UK HUB, your main purpose will be to provide content related to Entrepreneurship in the UK and engage HUB members in all features available on the HUB. 

The GEN UK HUB is all about community. This is the one safe space where all those who are active in the UK’s entrepreneurial ecosystem can connect and share ideas and activities, either publicly across the community, or in private groups.

You will be able to get involved in lots of different areas to support the HUB and its users. 

You could be driving discussions on the platform to get people talking, and encouraging GEN UK partners to share content.  You’ll also upload resources (pdf/video) relevant to members to drive engagement.

You’ll list events that might be of interest to members and support in the delivery of these events though the HUB.

With your searching head on, you’ll look for potential new partners and content and support with on-boarding any newbies, making them feel welcome with personalised messages.

There will be lots of team work and opportunities to collaborate with other areas of GEN UK, a real all-round experience of working for a unique not-for-profit organisation. Oh, and you’ll get full training on how to use the HUB!

  • You’re down with Digital and feel you have some skills in this area that you can bring to the table.
  • You’re a confident communicator on email, on social media, on the phone and face-to-face.
  • You’re a people person! You enjoy teamwork, meeting new people and creating new working relationships.
  • You enjoy social media and have a pretty good idea of how these channels work, you probably have your own Instagram/Facebook/Twitter account.
