Growth Assistant

Organised? Dedicated? Can run Gsuite with your eyes closed? Help keep the (scheduled) laughs coming by being a Growth Assistant at NextUp.

Growing a company is hardwork! As a Growth Assistant you’ll provide the much-needed support and the hands-on help for the Head of Growth to keep on pushing the business and so he knows where he is going and at what time he is supposed to be there…

You’ll be in regular contact with internal team members and external contacts to assist with things like coordinating diaries, communications and marketing initiatives. You’ll be the friendly desk percher (post-Covid!) making sure that everyone is getting their tasks done and communicating between departments to make sure everyone is on the same page.

You’ll take charge of the important stuff like ensuring there are processes in place when an initiative is launched, making sure everyone knows what their responsibilities are for the project and what the deadlines are. You’ll be arranging meetings, and follow up meetings, ensuring emails are replied to along with being the point of contact if someone has a query. You certainly won’t be bored!

What makes a NextUp team member a success?
  • Being super-duper organised! Obviously this is a key point but your organisational skills can come from anywhere - arranged a big birthday bash for a mate? Sorted out a huge family zoom call?  Put together a holiday plan from scratch?  All these things count!
  • You’re confident managing an online diary and calendar.
  • You’re great with Email, face to face and phone conversations.
  • You can squeeeeeze things in a diary when it looks a bit tight, and know what is important and what can wait.
  • You’ve got experience with Gsuite ( Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Drive) in particular
  • You’re happy to learn new software if you’ve not used it before and reckon you’ll learn it quite quickly.
