Footy mad? Love working with youngsters? If you want to combine your love of footy with doing great work in the community, then Football Unites have the role for you!

Football Unites is one of the most exciting rising football programmes across the country, soon to be the most prominent independent sports academy in the world.

Football Unites provide communities with free football opportunities for all ages whilst also enhance employment, reduce crime and increase community cohesion.

As a Head Coach you will be working with inspiring young people who are passionate about football and love being a part of Football Unites.

You will lead on the delivery of up to 4 Football Unites Community programmes at project locations in either Newham, Waltham Forest, Enfield of Barking.

You will lead on the ongoing evaluation and monitoring of individual sessions, participant performance and programme outcomes and submit progress reports.

You will be in charge of managing the team of staff members on each of your area football programmes as well as building and maintaining great relationships with partners and participants' parents/guardians.

You will also work closely with the Head of Football to develop the coaching philosophy - you have a great opportunity to really make an impact!

What makes a Football Unites team member a top scorer?

  • You are really interested in the work that Football Unites are doing and you’re keen to learn more, even if that means making the odd mistake!
  • You’ve already got some experience in delivering sports sessions to kids aged between 8-16 years old and you’re a qualified FA Coach.
  • You absolutely love football - you play it, you watch it and you want to help youngsters find their passion with it too and help them use football as a vehicle to support them to achieve their goals
  • You’ve had some experience with managing schedules/staff/teams in the past - maybe this was at school/college/Uni.
  • You enjoy teamwork but you’re equally happy to work remotely and independently if you need to.
