Operations/General Assistant

Calling all organised people! If you fancy putting your organisational skills to the test whilst working for a chic Athleisure brand, say no more!

As an Operations/General Assistant you will get to help out in lots of different aspects of the business and will be crucial to helping Ernest Leoty run smoothly.

Along with supporting the team with day-to-day operation activities you will help manage stock and logistics with the EL warehouse and manage the relationship and logistics with the EL wholesalers and small stockists - this could involve chatting to the team at Selfridges or Net-A-Porter.

With your analytical head on you will be looking at profit margins and seeing how EL can use data to plan forecasting and optimisation of sales.

You’ll be helping the product team to forecast analysis on prices of items such as components for making the clothes as well as the all important fabric orders!

What makes a great Ernest Leoty team member?

  • You are interested in working for a fashion start-up and keen to learn more as you go along.
  • You are a confident communicator with top-notch English skills and you’re not afraid to pick up the phone if you need to!
  • You’re happy to work independently and remotely if the role requires it.
  • You have a really good eye for detail - nothing gets past you!
  • You can handle a few tasks on the go at the same time with ease.
  • You can smash out an Excel spreadsheet if required.
  • You enjoy bringing your own ideas to the table as well as getting down to a bit of problem solving.

If you’ve got in flaunt it (if not Google it)

  • If you can speak French this is a plus (C’est La Vie!)
  • If you’ve previously worked in Fashion Ops or logistics for a fashion company this also great - but don’t worry if you don’t have this experience, it’s not essential to the role.
