As a Social Media & Marketing Assistant at Mixology with Olly you will play a key role in shaping socials, creative direction and helping to take Ads to the next level.

Social Media is a huge part of any business and at Mixology with Olly you will be able to get involved with all aspects of running the social media accounts - this might include tasks such as post creation, scheduling, customer engagement, and photography. (camera provided!)

Creative input is welcomed and you will have the opportunity to shape the role as you develop so you’ll really put your own stamp on this position!

You’ll also be getting stuck into the world of paid advertising, eventually taking responsibility for running services such as Google Ads, FB ads and Instagram ads. What posts are working? Where can be improved? What sorts of people are making purchases? Sleuth it out!

You’ll be completing a Google certified digital marketing course during your placement to boost your knowledge and confidence in digital marketing along the way.

There will be some behind the scenes bits to get involved with too, such as helping with packaging of the goods and the all important logistics.

What makes a great Mixology with Olly team member?

  • You are interested in the drinks industry and want to learn more about working in this space.
  • You are a Social Media pro! You are active on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc and you regularly post on your own channels, you love it!
  • You’re quite creative and enjoy taking photos, making reels and videos.
  • You’re interested in learning about the ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of running social accounts - such as paid advertising and analysing engagement.
  • You’re a confident communicator whether this is on the phone, social media, email or face-to-face.
  • You enjoy working from home and equally happy to work in an office environment.
  • You like to get ‘stuck in’ and you’re happy to get involved with other elements of the business when you’re needed.

If you’ve got it, flaunt it! (if not, Google it)

  • It would be great if you’ve got some experience already in Photoshop and some basic graphic design knowledge up your sleeve - but don’t worry if not. It’s not essential to you getting the role.
